Chicory Blooms

I’d like to say there’s a deeper meaning to Chicory Blooms but funnily enough, it’s just because of my love for chicory blossoming anywhere and everywhere in the summer. Because I picked them for wedding bouquet on the side of the road, and now every year on my anniversary, I’m treated to fields of chicory blossoming on the highway. They’re resilient, and add a spark of blue you don’t normally find in nature.

I’ve worked in the coffee industry for around four to five years now, and you might recognize the word “chicory” from NOLA Chicory Coffee, a non caffeinated drink made from chicory roots. It felt like a little too much of a coincidence to not use chicory for my business.
